Unique vintage adjustable ‘scissor’ armchair made in Germany in the 1960s. The chair can be adjusted to 2 positions, see photos. Hans Levi (1915-1997) designed this chair and applied for a patent for the mechanism. He came from Mainz, Germany and emigrated to the United States before the war. He lived in New York, then New Jersey, and finally Lake Arrowhead, CA.
